In this article I will offer very simple but complete step-by-step instructions for how to pair Aukey wireless earbuds to any device – an Apple PC or iPhone, a Windows PC or Android phone.

First we’ll cover the most basic steps, which should help you get your Aukey ‘buds connected quickly and easily, and then we’ll go over some basic troubleshooting points if it doesn’t work.

Then at the end of the article I will offer more detailed instructions for finding and using the Bluetooth page on any phone or computer – Apple, Android or Windows.

How to Connect Aukey Earbuds to Any Device

Step 1 – Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on on your phone or PC

  • For specific instructions on how to do this with an Apple iPhone or PC, an Android phone or a Windows PC, see below

Step 2 – Make sure your Aukey earbuds are close enough to the device

  • Effective Bluetooth range can be quite long, but for pairing I like to have the earbuds and the device right next to each other

Step 3 – Take your Aukey earbuds out of the case to turn them on and put them in pairing mode

  • If this is the first time you are using them, the Aukeys will automatically go into pairing mode when you take them out of the case, and you can go to step 4
  • If your earbuds have already paired with another device, they will first try to find that device and reconnect with it. If there is no known device in range, after a few seconds they will go into manual pairing mode to find a new device.

So if you want to pair with a new or different device, just wait 10 seconds or so, until the Aukey earbuds begin flashing green and red, and then proceed to the next step

  • Just make sure there are no previously paired devices – phones, PCs or other – that are in range, turned on and have Bluetooth active, or the Aukeys will pair with that device instead
  • Also please note that with some Aukey wireless earbuds – the EP-t25 and the EP-N5, for example – you don’t take them out of the case to pair, but simply open the case lid

Step 4 – Go back to your device’s Bluetooth page and select your Aukey earbuds

  • If your Aukey earbuds are powered on and in pairing mode, they should appear here. If not, go back to the previous steps – and make certain the earbuds are close enough to your device and sufficiently charged
  • Also, If you don’t see your Aukey earbuds listed, you can refresh the list, or turn Bluetooth off and on
  • Again, for more specific instructions on how to do this with an Apple phone or PC, an Android phone or a Windows PC, see below

Your Aukey earbuds should now be paired and connected to your device. The LED indicator light should now be glowing steady blue, and if you are playing music or any other audio you should be able to hear it.

  • Please note that you only have to go through this manual pairing process one time – after that, your Aukey earbuds and your phone, PC or other Bluetooth gadget will automatically find each other and pair every time they are turned on and in range

How to Connect Aukey Earbuds: Basic Troubleshooting

  • Make sure your Aukey earbuds are not just on and pairing, but are sufficiently charged
  • Remember that your earbuds and device have to be in range of each other – effective Bluetooth range can be quite long, but when pairing I always have them right next to each other
  • Make sure you are actually playing something – music, a movie, an audiobook or any other audio
  • Check the volume controls on your Aukey earbuds, your gadget and your media player, making sure they are all turned up at least a bit
  • Make sure your PC, phone, tablet or other device is not locked or in airplane mode
  • Turn your earbuds off and back on and restart your PC or phone, and try the process again
  • If these steps don’t work, you can reset your Aukey Aukey earphones by pressing down the touch-sensitive button on both headphones at the same time for at least 10 seconds – this will clear all previous Bluetooth pairings, and you can then try pairing again
